Effective: October 20, 2026 Last updated: October 21, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Zilmi iOS app. By accepting them in the app, you agree to the terms below and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Zilmi helps you record gongfu tea sessions. You may photograph tea liquor in a white cup, log infusion numbers and brewing settings, add tasting notes, view color progression, compare sessions, and save experiment reports. The app may flag noticeable lighting differences in photos and describe patterns based on the data you recorded. These observations are a journaling aid, not an assessment of tea quality or a professional opinion.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Usage Rules. You must be at least 13 years old, and a parent or guardian must consent where the law requires it.
2. Entry and local profile
You enter the app after reviewing and accepting the Terms and Privacy Policy. No username, email address, or password is required for entry. A local profile ID is created on the device; you can edit your display name and profile image. Signing out returns to the welcome screen while keeping the local journal. Delete Account removes the local profile, journal, photos, reports, and coin balance from the device. Deleted local data cannot be recovered through Zilmi, and coin balances are not transferred to a different device.
3. Your content and acceptable use
You retain your rights in photos, written notes, spoken notes, and other material you add. You allow the app to store and display that material on your device to provide the features you choose. You are responsible for the content you add and for complying with applicable law. Do not use the app to infringe others' rights, interfere with its operation, or misuse purchasing features.
Any sample stories shown in the in-app Plaza are local sample content. The current app does not publish your journal or provide an online social network.
4. Experiment reports
Experiment reports summarize and organize the tea sessions, visible color observations, brewing settings, and tasting notes saved on your device. They are created locally; Zilmi does not use an external AI provider to make these reports. Lighting, camera angle, and cup choice can affect apparent tea color, so use your own tasting judgment when interpreting a report.
5. Coins and purchases
Your first three experiment reports are free. After that, creating one report costs 26 coins. Manual tea recording and viewing saved entries do not consume coins. Coins are digital units usable only for eligible Zilmi features; they have no cash value and cannot be redeemed outside the app. Zilmi offers no subscription or recurring payment.
Coin packs are one-time consumable in-app purchases processed by Apple. Applicable prices and taxes are shown during App Store checkout. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies; your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. If a charge or coin credit appears incorrect, contact Apple purchase support and Zilmi@gmail.com. The current app saves the coin balance on this device, so uninstalling the app or deleting the local account can remove it.
6. Third-party services
Apple distributes the app and processes in-app purchases. The linked policy pages are delivered through our website hosting service. The applicable third-party terms and privacy practices govern those services. Zilmi does not provide AI-generated reviews in the current app.
7. Ending use and changes
You may stop using Zilmi or delete the local account at any time. We may update the app or these Terms as features or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide notice of material changes where required. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
8. Disclaimer and applicable rights
The app and its observations are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that a photographed tea color proves quality, freshness, or safety. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude. Disputes are subject to applicable law and the courts that have jurisdiction under that law.
9. Apple App Store terms
These Terms are between you and Zilmi, not Apple. Zilmi is responsible for the app and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them after your acceptance, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
